PVP arena

I know Every1 that is lvl 90 Gets Bored of Normal 1 vs1 pvps.

Thats why i was Thinking Why not Create A PVP arena.

PVP arena will be where servers can go head to head in there 1vs , 2v2, 3v3 ect...

It would be really fun for every1 because the pvp's would be fair and even at all times.

The Colosseum in Constantinople would be a Good place to hold The PVP arena ^_^

pvp arena would be great for lvl 90-s who will not have almost anyone to pvp of their lvl at downhag.

btw : server vs server is something that probably cant be done, and we still dont know will we have 1 or 2 servers...
so dont rush into things that you are not shure of.

kk GoNight. I think the PvP Arena thing would be a GREAT idea. Even if you have to set up a end hand PvP tournament once a week. Where u guys keep a tournament at Taklamakan arena...everyone who wants to see stay up out of the arena and watch....and the GM wud call the 1st Fighters name (whoever applied) and the 2nd one as well..they wud run down and stuff..and then GM starts it and u have a 8 vs 8 tourney until it boils down and u have a winner....and the winner gets a prize....

Dunno if u guys wud have time for this, can maybe have a GM that is personally in charge of this as Eckoro and JohnD might be busy at all times...

Just saying still to see what you guys gonna say.

The server vs server would be possible but you need another server that is all pvp and has every char from both servers up to date on it so when you log in it you can play your char there too. soo.. it would be possible just need more money to get another server and some work to keep it going good.

To be honest, I last came accross a place in isro and me and my mate were talking about something similair
If I would have time I would be glad to be one of the gm's keeping busy with this
Unfortunately I can't really think of any way we could do it automatically, so it probably has to be done by hand, but that just makes it more real
As for the prices, maybe you have to give money to enter in the competition, and then make rounds like round one is 4v4, then next round 2v2, next round 1v1, then the winner is announced over whole server and gets the price money

We'll see later, but this really is a wonderfull idea, this is definetly coming on my favourites list

Thx alot of taking in my idea immortal, been thinking of it for a while, should ave sed it a long time ago.

I know alot of ppl will love this idea, so you cud make it two types of tournaments, on weekends or something like that. One on Saturdays and the other on Sundays.

SAT: 8v8 --> 4v4 --> 2v2 --> 1v1 => WINNER

SUN: 16vs16 [This is 32 ppl, and 1vs1 just like World Cup style round of 32] and then it goes down to Round of 16 or 8v8, then 4v4 the quarter FINALS, then SEMI-FINALS 2v2, then THE GRAND FINALS = 1v1 and then we have the CHAMPION, then could have a fight off for 3rd place between the losers of the semi-finals, can maybe have this one once a month instead of every week..would be waaaay to hectic for every weekend lol...

Just ideas shooting abt this PvP arena thingy....cud be really cool and popular and would be the most unique that ever happened to Silkroad Online any at all....

PRIZES (Just suggestions):

1st) SOSUN Weapon by selection according to the winners build.
2nd) SOM weapon by selection according to the winners build.
and
3rd) 750m Gold <---this just came to thought cant think of a third place prize, but i guess cud be done

SOM/SUN rewards gonna destroy the economy + make those items almost worthless.

I got another idea:

1st) 500m + Pet
2nd) 250m + 100 Globals
3rd) 100m + 50 reverse returns

..kinda balanced.

this is a pretty cool idea hope it gets implemented +1 this would put an interesting twist on pvp

I like the ideas similar to ninjam's, start out with a lot of people and break it down.
I would also like to say I like the idea of giving out gold and silk items...rather than sun.
I'd say have it every weekend or two and of course workout a timezone for everybody.

OK then...just for you guys to get it to Eckoro and John Dread....it would be good, although i think they will gonna accept it anyways....This is a great idea and im happy you guys support it

Just for the Admins/GM's to set it up and place it on the site after the site and Server has opened...with a little more planning and such. Also i would be happy to assist and stuff with the planning and record and collection of data and such for the idea on a whole.
